About Me
I am a motivated individual with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring mathematics. Let me help you become a better math student. I have taught at the pre-school, high school, and college levels. I have tutored students from elementary mathematics through calculus.
Education
I attended Houston Community College and earned a AS in 2002, Houston Baptist University and earned a BS in Mathematical Studies & Pedagogy, and Concordia University in Portland and earned a MEd in Curriculum & Instruction with a K-14 Math Focus. I also have an additional 18 Graduate Math hours from University of Houston.
Teaching Experience
I taught high school math for 11 years, an adjunct professor of transitional math for 2 years, and I am currently a developmental mathematics instructor for Galveston College in my 7th year. I was a part-time tutor when I was in college and tutor students as part of my regular responsibilities as a teacher/instructor.
Interests
I enjoy building things with my hands, spending time outside, swimming, sports, and hanging out with friends and family.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
